The challenge
Zepplin The Label is a fine jewelry studio brand looking to validate Meta as a sales channel without committing a large budget. The engagement was consultative: design a campaign structure that could generate real purchase signal from a limited spend, in a category where buying decisions are rarely impulsive.
A consultation-first engagement
Rather than a fully managed service, we worked as an advisor alongside the founder. We designed the campaign architecture, audience strategy, and measurement setup, then guided implementation through regular working sessions, explaining the reasoning behind every decision. The goal was twofold: deliver results, and leave the founder able to understand, evaluate, and run her own paid social with confidence.
The approach
With a constrained budget, efficiency came from structure rather than scale. We built a two-phase funnel. Phase 1 focused on prospecting with a sales objective, optimizing toward add-to-cart to build purchase intent data at low cost. Phase 2 retargeted the warm audience generated in Phase 1, concentrating spend on users who had already shown intent. Creative testing between video and carousel formats revealed video driving intent at roughly 60% of the cost, and budget was reallocated accordingly.
The results
Over a three-month test, the phased approach proved the funnel works: strong intent signal at the top, with every purchase coming from the warm audience built in Phase 1. The brand came out of the engagement with a validated campaign structure, a pixel data foundation to scale from, and the in-house knowledge to keep building on it.
- 6.2% click-through rate across the funnel (vs ~1-2% ecommerce benchmark)
- 4× lower cost per add-to-cart in warm audiences vs cold
- $15 cost per add-to-cart in the prospecting phase
"I just wanted to sincerely thank you for all of your support, guidance, and thoughtful work over the past few months. I've truly learned so much from you, and I'm incredibly grateful for the time and care you've put into helping me better understand and grow the business."
